how can one tell. the video's too short but from what i've seen - nothing special. he could've been caught at his best or the contrary. you gotta get more information like attend his classes or talk to his students. i don't think anybody here could take responsibility to tell whether he's good on not judging from just this video. MHO anyway.

I think the guy kicking has many things he can do to improve his technique but he is in Thailand the best place to learn. Im sure after his stay he would have improved in leaps and bounds and will have a better understanding of Muay Thai which in turn would be of great benefit to whoevr he is teaching.

I feel that the trainer is good. He has taught his student many standard movements. The student is also learning fairly well, but needs polishing as shark pointed out. Just before he grabbed the trainer's leg, he should have side stepped a little to the right to soften the kick impact, and after catching the leg, sliding his left forearm back a little to grip the trainer's ankle tightly with the inside of his elbow. Otherwise, the trainer may be able to pull his foot loose and foot jab him. But I noticed that the student raised his left elbow to make his trainer loose balance and difficult to retaliate. A very nice technique. In all, I give the trainer and his student high marks. The student is not a Thai, so he is doing quite well. BTW that looks like a very nice and clean camp. I wonder what the camp's name is.

Blah Blah Blah, that guy wasnt even the instructor. All I seen was kicks and punches, that isnt muiy Thai, he probably is good at his MT and has good skills, but not with a little show like that.Anyone can throw, its all about ease. I can just picture half of you guys, big chubbers who like to talk but cant walk, dont worry tho the world is fulll of them.
