Girls fighting full Thai rules in Thailand

If you looked at historical records then women must have been fighting back the but they are now allowed to fight in the major stadiums in Bangkok and in many gyms they are allowed to train but not get into the ring at the gym. I talked to Sangtien Noi (Fight name the Deadly Kisser, the beat Dekker before among others and traind JWP) he said girls could come to his gym and train but not get in the ring.

Melissa Chay-yai Gym won last night by tko after kneeing the other girl in the face in the fith round. The girl she was fighting was previously champion of the North of Thailand.

Wow. The woman in that Thai newspaper article was ripped. That pic of her holding her hands up is adorable.

And she's beautiful too. It says she's from the UK and her name is Melissa...not Thai, but kind of Asian looking...

Her name is Melissa Ray she has had more than twenty fights and is fighting again on Monday. We now also have Yoko from Japan, she is fighting in Japan next week and preparing at Chay-yai Gym. Yoko has had 10 am fights and 10 pro fights.

Melissa is part of the succesfull dean white gym in south yorkshire england,a very good muay thai camp.

Yes, Melissa is trained by Dean White in the UK. Deans son Dale is the WBC World Champion and he has a very strong gym indeed. Melissa has been training at Chay-yai Gym in Chiang Mi a few months now as Dean is a close friend of the gym and a regular visitor.
Melissa won gain by Ko in the first round last night and will be fighting again in one week, in 5 weeks she will have a big match in Bangkok.
