I was thinking about buying a standard thai bag. 6ft 14x72 100lbs I think was the stats. The things basically sold by Titleboxing.com. My only concern is that if I was gonna set it up I'd do it in my spare room that currently is loaded with garbage (I mean wall to wall walk ontop of things to get into it.) Of course I'd clear it out and thats a bit oblivious to my point. The room is kind of small, now I'd of supplied measurements to the room but at the moment I can't get into it to measure it lol. Yeah... by the looks of it if I stood in the center of the room and fully extended a leg I'd have maybe a good 2-3 feet room between my foot and the wall. I'm worried about the concept of me hitting the bag hard enough to send it flying into the wall and since it's 100 lbs that wouldn't be too hard to break it seeing that my wall is redicously soft. Dry rock or what ever it's called. Do you think there is anyway that I could weigh it down or if it's even all that simply to make a thai bag fly into a wall like that (Yeah I know power of the kick and punch etc but still). I was told I hit rather hard and was planning on using it to practice my low kicks and teep perticularly thats why I am concerned.
Thats probalby the bag I'd buy so yeah. Also if you know of any better thai bags feel free to post those too! Alsoooooo if it turns out I would hit the wall if I kicked too hard is there anything I could buy like a steel plate for the bottom or something to keep it remotely stationary?
Thanks!
