Hi Scott, that's from a fighters standpoint which I can understand if your not yet a top player
However I do noot see many messages here on K1 either even though it is the Top promotion with the best standup fighters of the World
Might that be because Americans are only interested in something when Americans are a major part of it
Are don't you guys like the Dutch ?(just kidding of course)

the people running K1 don't even promote it like they used to. I used to get updates all the time. They are slacking. If thats a interest of yours, then get off your ass and promote it.
K-1's website sucks. They do not televise any of the PPV events (at least on Comcast up here in the PAC NW). So it basically becomes impossible to follow except for blips on the internet. Bummer.

I havn't even seen K1 televised in the USA for a couple years. But, even when it was aired, those tournaments were at least 3 years old.
But they also do that with IKF and ISKA. If they show fights from one of those circuits, it's usually a few years old. and major circuits like that, should automaticly be covered by espn or blackbelt tv.
The bottom line is that we don't talk about K-1 because we all prefer Muay Thai... LOL!
But seriously, if you're interested in good K-1 discussion, to to K-1 Fans website and check out it's message boards. Really good discussions with some very knowledgeable posters. Also, links to download tons of the most recent fights (as well as classic matches!)

Try the SBS6 website. It should work for foreigners it does for Germans at least. It's not live but the next best thing. As soon as a tournament is over they usualy host it within a day or two. They also have footage from some of the large mixfight events (stand up and MMA) in the Netherlands. Like Slamm or Tough is not Enough. SBS 6 - SBS 6 Sport - Vechtsport - K-1 - Programma gemist

It is not that I need a daily dose of K1, just that it amazed me there is so little about K1 on this forum and was wondering why that is.
The lack of PPV in the US is one reason but I would expect most of you guys not to rely soley on what is on PPV
But that might be because in my country(Netherlands) we do not have PPV for anything at all
Might that be because Americans are only interested in something when Americans are a major part of it
I think it's because K-1 is not aired here in the states. If it is I don't know about it or it's not advertised. If I knew when it was on I would watch it.
