All you need is love........and a sharp blade.....a hardwood flat stick......Oh, oh, oh and a Paraordinance lda 14.45 loaded with 230 grain hydra shocks, ranger SXT's or golden sabres
My $.02....
There are no standardized levels in Muay Thai. The old saying goes; "The belt is in the ring". Meaning if you want one, get in the ring and earn one. That being said, some gyms have belts or levels to denote experience within that particular gym, but really mean nothing outside of it.
Best regards,
William

No levels in muay thai but some people have attempted to standardize the sport with rankings. Its mostly in the west, they have coach teaching certificates with wmtc, imtc, and stuff like that here in thailand.
Ajarn chai has levels within his organization and standardized testing but it is not so here in the muay thai camps.
There are members of the organization since this forum is for members of the organization who can tell exactly what each level means and what you have to do to earn them. There might be some archived threads on that or maybe those were on the actual instructor testing.

Personally I do not think that certificate means nothing. It bears the TBA logo so it is from the structure of training from the TBA - Master Chai organization. Nothing wrong with that in fact I personally really am a big believer in the TBA structure.
Muay Thai as a whole has no rank just as wrestling and Sambo. But with the American mindset of goal setting. It is my opinion a rank structure is in place so that progress can be measured. Not all people want to fight in the ring. While many really love Muay Thai. Alot of Sambo schools in America have adopted a rank structure also. But Sambo world wide isn't rank based.

Thai Girl,
Surely these are questions to be posed to your instructor? They issued the rank and therefore should be perfectly capable of explaining it's context.
It is not unusual for Instructors in Master Chai's organisation to use a ranking system, two of my instructors are Regional Directors in the TBA and both use a ranking system. Your instructor clearly uses one, simply ask them about it's meaning and relevance. If you are still unsure then you will have a Regional Director for your State or Area who will be able to help, if you need to know who that may be then drop me a line and I may be able to help.
Your query is specific to a rank issued by your teacher, and as the others have said there are no standards, its down to each club. Therefore I suggest that the best approach is to speak to your teacher. If he/she is a TBA Instructor then I am sure they can answer your question.

The site has just been redone also. What they used to have some listings of required techniques. I believe the instructors are given a lot of freedom on the training phases up to actually getting your apprentice instructor in the TBA. Others could better contribute to that than I can.
I am not in the TBA. We don't have any in my town. I have worked with a couple of TBA instructors and they break out the foundation differently. But they use the same information.
I have seen some schools that break it out in phases, Ie. phase I, Phase II, Phase II, Apprentice. Others I have seen use the belt structure, White, yellow, yellow w/ stipe ect.
but when it comes to your test for instructor that is set from the TBA. If I am not mistaken.
Muay Thai Test Requirements OC Kickboxing & MMA | Orange County Muay Thai - from OC Kickboxing in Southern California
This is as close to anything I have found. It is a TBA school also.

Good luck, I love thai boxing and the TBA logo mean alot at least to me it does. Don't let the certificate get in the way of you path of learning.
Again I am not a part of the TBA so I may have some info misconstrued but I really like what they do.
