All you need is love........and a sharp blade.....a hardwood flat stick......Oh, oh, oh and a Paraordinance lda 14.45 loaded with 230 grain hydra shocks, ranger SXT's or golden sabres
Even rhythm, pressure and timing is in the beginning to get accustomed to a drill or movement. To make it more "alive"/realistic you have to mix it up.
I like both of them, the Sitsiam group under Ajarn Tony Moore have been putting on an event called Amazing Thailand for well over a decade in England, where they feature demonstrations every day. I believe last year they had over 30000 come to watch over the month-long festival. The Dog Brothers are doing everything right, and I will say again I believe they might be creating a new American martial art.
The movements look fine to me, and also both have good balance and they hit hard.
As far as I know Aj. Moore learned with Ajarn Samai and has been ranked by him
and I don't think he would pollute what his teacher taught him-but then I don't know the Buddhai Sawan program so I can't really say.
And as everybody knows the dog brothers make KK real as with anything they do
so the end result is surely different from any Phys Ed. KK program.
Tony Moore doesnt or hasnt mixed anything else with his Krabi Krabong, his background is Muay Thai,Tony is very well trained from Phutaisawan lineage, however I remember reading a long time ago that Phutaisawan had Aikido mixed in the bag somewhere? perhaps the article was incorrect of course.
I do understand what you mean about the Dog Bros when they show KK you can see the other training coming through.
Chaiya Wanarat you are an IDIOT as always. You dont know nothing about nothing. Who mixes the stuff? Tony Moore doesnt, Stephen Wilson who is on this forum doesnt, jason webster doesnt, vincent giordano doesnt, the guy from the dog brothers teaches whatever modified for his sparring but he knows the real thing.......
What rank do you have in the style, chaiya wanarat that you know something about it?
Why dont you challenge one of the dog brothers or tony moore and watch how fast your ass is handed to you in a split second.
Where does this kid get this nonsense from? Half the people on the list will demolish him. Insulting tony moore, the dog brothers, stephen wilson, jason webster, vincent giordano and a host of others puts you in a world of hurt........I wont even go there!!! plus all of them are high ranked direct students of master samai.
Krabi-Krabong has been alive for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. To stay alive everything must change and grow. What started as a rock in the hand became a missile from a sling. The reason krabi-krabong survived is because, quite simply, if it didn't work on the battlefield the practitioner did not survive. In the martial arts, there is no honor greater than to add something to your art and be credited in the future. From the basic angles come multiple attack possibilities; it is all mathematical, if you wish. Also, in krabi-krabong especially, upper ranks are expected, almost required, to contribute something new. That calls for experimentation, trial and error if you want to call it that. To learn and grow, one must try and fail. Just look a few posts above and you will see it happening on this very thread.
