funny. I had to go watch some donny b. He has a very active imagination and obviously has never been to thailand to see the reality of it.

He can probably learn a few things from graceffo on how to exploit things properly and blow yourself up more. How to really make nothing into something.

I would like to read some of the other graceffo books to see if they are as bad as this one. I suspect he has a good grasp on how to use his fans to manipulate feedback and get good reviews from fans. He likes to be the big fish in a small pond and build myth. Some people wish they could travel and do those things so they are impressed with his insights into the different places and such. Obviously on this site many people fought and traveled all over the place so the holes become very apparent and the fabrications more easily spotted.

You are a glutton for punishment if you are attempting to read anything more by the guy, the stuff is best digested online through short articles and in short bursts if you must read anything by him.

Antonio:::I stumbled on two online forums where some people were absolutely ripping me apart. They said how stupid I was from Shaolin days, to boxing, to Chaiya, to MMA and till now. They said I had a redneck sense of humor because I had spent more time in Tennessee than New York, growing up. They knew about my seminar in California. They’d copied some of my facebook status and were making fun of them. They hated all of my videos. And, they agreed that my new book was worse than the previous six. At first I was angry. Then I realized, these guys had been watching and reading, and more importantly, BUYING my books for ten years now. Other than the fact that they claimed to hate me, they were my most devoted fans. It was like when a third-grader hits a girl in his class because he likes her. It’s not very mature behavior, but who could blame a third grader? So cute!

Love the fact he just "stumbled" onto two forums, does that remind you the chaiya guys who used just 'stumble' into our forums --post once, say how everyone is fucked up and dont understand then leave?

He is using the same chiaya retard tactics or spinning words around when kyuss said he is like a poor child trying to impress his father. boom he spins it to an analogy of a third grader--wow, i'm impressed--

interesting how someone interprets what we say. He doesnt even mention someone actually took the time to give a pretty thorough review of the book and cited what he liked and what he didnt. I guess he didnt really read the forum or the review. Nobody read the other books, they read this new one. Who said they hated all his videos or even watched them? Someone lent me a copy of the book and i watched a few vids online. hes terrible on camera and thats why he does grade Z martial arts movies nobody wants to see.

Antonio: Thanks for thee(sp) support. seriously, the guys just made me laugh when I saw how detailed the analysis was. They even had posted clips from when i did a TV interview out in Califonria. It was like they had been collecting a scrap book of hate for years and year(sp).

a scrapbook of hate year after year? when did this first thread start like weeks ago? is he delusional or just insane? he overinflates everything into a dramatic opera. Antonio is a nobody in the world of martial arts and his paychecks demonstrate that. he cant take criticism whether its good or not.
Of course our analysis is good and thorough, its pointing out all the bullshit coming out of his mouth that doesnt add up.

I only found one other forum where some guys repasted the review. The other forum had a good review there who which said in summary you might be disappointed by the book if you want a straight history of cambodian martial arts but it if you are looking for a personal journey thats more of what it is like. I thought that hit the nail on the head. if you were looking for a personal journey book then it might work for you and it should be called that. If i read that short blurb first i would have said ok, its a personal journey book and i might not have bought it or bought it knowing what it was. That was not a negative review it was not even a review it was just pointing out what the book was. I took a lot of time writing the review. Andi actually never watched many videos of his on the internet --i went back to check them out after reading the book to double check things and try to round out the review. I did the best i could but that was my view on it. I didnt review his dvds or videos or other books as i hadnt seen any of them outside of the few cambodian ones and this book. I even said i wanted to hear what others thought of the book even if they liked it or hated it. I think its clear in the review. I guess even when you try and do a good job people will not even bother to read it and denounce it right off the bat. Its evident he isnt reading what is on this forum and the other very clearly and objectively.

i WILL SAY I will never SPEND Another penny for his stuff after blowing $30 plus postage on that kun khmer book !!!!!!!!!

I know tons of guys who went to thailand,burmacambodia, Brazil to train and practically starved never leaving the camp for months on end, fighting and training and they did it with integrity and pride...no fucking crying, just showing up and getting the job done!

If he is bragging about all these books, dvds, websites--obviously nobody is buying his crap or he would have money. He is just bragging and building myth out of nothing--he doesnt have a penny to his name at 45 years old! How pathetic is that?????hes bragging about being the great writer, martial artist, tv show host and what does it amount to---nothing!!!!!

Why didnt he be A MAN about it and come on here and say hey, your review sucks its all wrong and show some intellect and writing skill and write a rebuttal to the review, say hey bokator is real and he is the lineage line, here is my proof? The review was well written and thought out, kyuss. Alot of people have emailed you about it to tell you and the forum has alot of hits to this thread to come read it. There was nothing on the martialtalk forum, it was a good balance saying try this other book if you are looking for something scholarly or graceffos if you want like apersonal tale.....whats wrong with that????People know the truth and how to get at the truth. In time they will expose this guy and his world will come crumbling down on him--worst than it already has!!

Once again lies and subterfuge have been exposed here. Not only about Graceffo but also about Bokator. It's been going too far with documentaries and videos "proving" and building the myth of Bokator being the ancestor of Cambodian MA while it's just a made up style.

I believe that the bokator thing just needs to be clarified a bit. I just think the problem is in the history and thats what I hoped for in the book. For antonio to document the bokator he is certified and trained in was the most important thing. Who is the teacher? Where did he learn it? was it a new system from old stuff like some muay boran? thats all. The book sort of evaded that and thats what sort of angered me. search for the root but then dont disclose it. obviously they have a system of bokator they teach and the guys compete which is good of course but lets hope the future brings more info on what it is and how it came to be. its a great topic and i am sure regardless of our feelings for antonio we would all read that particular aspect if it was written in a sincere fashion. Just my thoughts on it.
