I have to read that new black belt, he admited to have like a few mma lessons and some wrestling and now he is a mma teacher.....for who...the blind?

Been communicating with a ton of folks about this. The person who wrote a comment on the youtube portion talked with graceffo several times on the issue thru email. Hopefully he will join up here soon and expose those conversations so we can see what a liar graceffo is as graceffo knew this person he was slamming and was just trying to hunt out who he trained with and where he went. I mean i am sure this other person never asked if graceffo trained here and there. I mean the other person has traveled twice as far and twice as long as graceffo. More to follow.

Typical arrogance. Go to a place where there are plenty of heavyweights and tons of fights and you wont have problems. Fighting in Malaysia where there is practically no mma will yield those results. He was in NY fight there, he was in LA fight there, go to brazil, why beat up on people in malaysia where the sport is new? So many people on this forum fought and never did i hear such nonsense from any of them.

He keeps on with the people who hate him line like a crying child. He is the one spreading all this bullshit and lies. he still isnt confronting the most important issue on the cambodian situtation and the history and validity of the bokator teacher. He insults others with his endless remarks but then doesnt want to be held accountable. Just childish bull.

If he found some sense of purpose--maybe lets say like looking into the true roots of cambodian martial arts and disclosing his bokator is a modern version etc, threads like this wouldnt exist.

Just got the new black belt mag I didnt know they gave graceffo a monthly column each and every month. I thought it was just articles. Does black belt check the background of these guys or they just print anything they send in? The article was more blow hard stuff about training old muay for use in mma. If you watch graceffo fight nothing of that is there but it makes for colorful articles that blow like hot air.

BB Mag is ad driven so its about the selling of ad space. They dont research the validity of any articles or writers from the looks of it. The new BB is the second part of the article john mentioned before the first part.
It's a colorful story but in reality its more selling of graceffo like an ad and that fits into what black belt represents nowadays.

yeah it is a continuation of part one and graceffo strangely does have a monthly column. But the new Black belt is not the black belt of old by any means for all the people who read it when they were young. A writer for black belt doesnt have any more credibility than a person who writes on a forum or a blog. Nobody fact checks or anything like that.

The ads support the mag and in turn the mag supports the people who run the ads. Look at the articles as they correspond to the ads. How can that situation reveal any truths or realities? Only commercial ones! thats not to say some articles on current things like Bjj and mma arent good because they are current and big but most are just slim glimpses.

So we know antonio has no real rank or credentials but he made a big deal out of his "silat promotion" in Malaysia. Outside of his "black Krama" and walking around fat and out of shape his entire so called career now this:

graceffo(dork from tennessee)--I am so fed up with Malay martial arts, my best advice about silat at this point is, go learn a real martial art. I have never seen so many fat, smoking, unfit, un-fighting, people in one room as i did in any silat event I ever attended. I have tried to support all sorts of traditional martial arts, but now that i am fighting again, my real opinions are coming out. if you are fat or a smoker, or if you want to practice ridiculous moves and then claim you can beat real fighters, silat is a perfect martial art for you.

What happened they took back his silat rank back and hes crying like a baby now? funny his real opinions are coming out NOW after selling this and that to promote himself== is he going to admit now the specific bokator he sells is made up by his teacher and his black krama has no meaning or worth?

Its true there are bad examples for any art but he could have worded his rant a little better for someone who was exploiting the art. the idea here is that this guy zigzags all over the map. There is no sincerity for martial arts or love just exploitation with this guy. This thread amply exposes that. obviously, no one wanted him to teach any seminars and it generated no interest because its graceffo and people got his number.

Further hilarity from the dork. Most of his posts read like from the early 90s since he is so out of touch with reality and MMA. When asked why he is fighting in Malaysia where there is virtually no MMA and virtually no heavyweights he says:

Its only preposterous because the guy doesnt want to go where fights are plentiful and talent is deep. He is broke begging for money from people on the internet to support him because he wants to fight but he doesnt want to go to where the fights are! Meaning he just wants to build all of this illusion out of the graceffo smoke and mirrors routine. I feel like i am in a time warp reading the guys stuff. He is twice my age and he reads like an grumpy old man stuck to his old ways.
People obviously love this thread because it just keeps growing in reader numbers.

This is appalling I have friends who do silat and kuntao who don't do it for sport but for self defense and are in the miltiary and LEo fields They are excellent practitioners and teachers! It is so hypocritical for someone to exploit something like that and then turn around and just insult every malay teacher. Then he gets mad when someone insults him! the guy has no integrity and definitely no credibility left.
