Silat is a great art and graceffo is fat himself. Wonder if any of the people he has exploited know the truth about him yet.

George i bet a printed copy of this thread would sell better than his books.

Oh and his comment about moving to another country was directed at me. He was complaining about not being able to fight anyone and i said he needs to come back to america and fight were there is no shortage of competition and the talent is deeper. He wont though, he has sand in his panties.

Funny he throws this guilt trip on everyone about how he is broke and poor sleeping on the floor of the gym yet everyday his fat ass is at a buffet and on facebook. Someones priorities are messed up here.

Tenzen this thread is becoming the written account of how not to conduct your life past 45 and become a loser!

THis whole thing is almost like documenting the mind of a 45 year dude desperately trying to grasp at the last straws but this one takes the cake. All his books and all his begging only must get him a few hundred dollars a month here is more from the dork direct from his priceless mouth. Admiting to not getting paid for fights(as well as avoiding top end guys) and sleeping on the floor of a gym. Far from being the posterboy for success and definitely not a role model for you kids reading this!
--Antonio Graceffo I get some income from my writing, and that is how I pay for food ongoing. I sleep in the gym, so I dont pay rent. so, each month, I only need about 400 USD for food and sundries. When i go fight it costs on average about $200 USD. some of the fights I get paid for. this time, not only did i not get paid but i had to pay for my own travel and hotel. I was offered a teaching job in Taichung and I keep thinking i should go back to work full time, but if I do that, I know the fighting is over. So, I hang on. This month I was supposed to have one very well paid fight, but that one was cancelled. Next month, I have a well paid fight on the table, plus two unpaid fights. If we start fighting Muay Thai, and we fight twice a month, I would probably have enough to live. But i am still not sure how long I could take fights at the bottom of Malaysian Muay Thai, because I know I can't hang with the guys at the top end.--

Its all propaganda. He will avoid all big names and situations were he has any chance of losing. Just like with the MMA. A bunch of us here have run the circuit through asia and brazil. so its apparent what he is doing. He has done muay thai and remember he is in the higher weight bracket for asia so opponents arent that plentiful.

Yeah hes a loser. And hes delusional. Not to mention a real prick for bashing an art and its practitioners when he was supposed to be an ambassador for them or whatever he was doing. That was a b*tch move santa.

The whole thread has turned into a very serious investigation into how someone just uses endless spin and manipulation to create an iI'm busy ignoring life agenda. Why are people even giving him money? It is sad and crazy. I mean we should start writing letters into black belt about the guy. The chaiya thread exposed one thing and now this is yet another.

Just to knock this thread back on track i found an old posting about bokator that warned of its roots. The posting was on a thread not on this forum about cambodian arts. I lost the original weblink but here it is.

I feel as though I should warn you about kim sean, he seems like a fraud. What he teaches doesn’t resemble traditional Boktaor. I think he’s in it for the name or fame if you will, rather than keeping the Art true to form.

If I were you I’d find another Kru that teaches the traditional Kbach Kun Boran, rather than the hybrid hapkido/boktaor (which is only one Mae of Kun Boran.)

So if this is true it fits with graceffos aims and purpose. he found the right teacher for his personal gain and propaganda.

That is very true. One of my kru was involved with the khmer hapkido federation or whatever its called, kim sean is/was president. He doesnt think too highly of what. Kim sean is selling and has said it doesnt seem real. This same kru of mine teaches kun boran and pradal serey.

Black Belt Mag is in on it. They could care less about the truth about the whole thing. They just want to sell mags. The issue is who made this guy the grandmaster and who taught him this rare art. It seems it came out of the air. Graceffo the great researcher and black kama forgot that part of history is important--- not making him a trusted source or good researcher at all-but a salesman. Strange isnt it. I mean they will backspin this whole nonsense like the chaiya guys. Suddenly, the history will miraculously appear!! But you guys already exposed it so all they have to do is reference our thread in the future for the truth.

wow, this thread is really growing.

                          good points, george as always.

Sorry to hear despite his advanced degrees graceffo got lost in selling himself and not worrying about reality and research. He is fully exposed now and people will begin to investigate what he is saying and doing more closely.

I mean many of us lived in muay thai camps for months and some for a year or more. Not one complained on here. He lives in a nice modern mma gym and he stretches it into this massive bid of self sacrifice. Many fought tons of tough opponents but he makes a big deal about beating people up with little or no experience who dont even get paid and avoids real fighters and real tournaments. He is a good publicist and nothing more.

I think the whole mma thing he is on now is so he can try to look like he has done something with the last 40 years of his life. News flash if you have spent as much time in asia practicing various arts for as long as you have then you would be a much better fighter than what you are. He always asks for opponents who have virtually no experience. I told him one time that he should come back to america and fight its easy to find a game opponent here. Or how about brazil or japan even. Great places for mma. But that will never happen. I think i might be in your weightclass antonio.

The dork is desperately trying to be relevant and cool but its not working. He keeps talking about watching UFC 1 but if you watch his fights his fighting is amateur and not far off from that level, if even at that level. I mean he is over 40 and evidently didnt know anything about mma until recently. The first time he loses or fights a game opponent, he will go into chaiya spin and say he had more fights than me, he trained with such and such, I'm 40 and he's.....its like a broken record. The excuses will be endless.

He has left such a paper trail that it is more than easy to go back through it and expose the endless inconsistencies as people have shown with the little we are talking about. Today, MMA- tomorrow?
I think he is a perfect example of the peter pan syndrome.
