On 16 May 2012, an official representing the Sports Authority of Thailand's (SAT) Board of Boxing Sport delivered two documents to Buakaw's home.

The first document asks Buakaw to present evidence in support of his letter to SAT, in which he had asked for his contract with Por Pramuk camp to be terminated. This evidence is to be presented at a meeting with the Board of Boxing Sport on 22 May 2012. Should Buakaw not attend this meeting, they will assume that he no longer wants to terminate his contract.

The second document officially informs Buakaw that he has violated the Boxing Act (1999) by fighting in the Thai Fight event on 17 April 2012. He is to acknowledge the charges at a meeting at the SAT on 22 May 2012. Should Buakaw not attend this meeting, they will assume that he does not wish to explain his case, & the Board of Boxing Sport will then make their judgement based on the evidence that they already have in hand.

The official spoke to Buakaw's first muaythai trainer & the chief of Kor Kaew subdistrict. He handed them the documents to pass to Buakaw, instead of giving them directly to him in person. This is because Buakaw's friends & family are fearful of disclosing the temple at which he is currently residing as a monk, as they are afraid that he will be in danger. A few days ago, a group of strange men came to Buakaw's house twice & harassed his family, demanding that they reveal his location. Their actions made Buakaw's friends & family fear that his safety is under threat.

The chief of Kor Kaew subdistrict said that he will hand the documents to Buakaw. He said that Buakaw's mind is more at peace now. The chief also said that he understands from Buakaw that the dispute with the camp was a result of not having enough time to rest & recover in between fights, having to fight while still injured, & not being paid his fair share of earnings. However, Buakaw would like this dispute to be resolved soon so that both parties can continue to earn a living.

      I wish him best luck.
