My instructor showed me a video that Ajarn Chai made a while back(I'm guessing during the 80's). I was wondering if copies of this video are still available? If not, does he have any plans to do another video? Thanks.

Brian,
I'm not sure about Ajarn Chai making any video's but I do know that Khuen Khru Greg Nelson (one of Ajarn's top student's, if not the top student) has a set of clinch videos out and they are absolutely incredible.
I almost even hate to mention them here because the material is so good. I would like to keep them my dirty little secret but I also want the TBA to spread and grow and I want people to appreciate what it has to offer and to generate support for Khuen Khru Nelson who is a great inspiration to me.
In fact, I used a number of the moves taught in the video to dominate my second Muay Thai fight tonight. I was able to prumb (clinch and knee) my opponent for about 5 out of the 6 minutes that we fought.
I was able to deliver decent damage while keeping my wounds to a sore right knee (probably from a couple of the knees that landed just off my opponent's ribs and on his boney hip).
I also spoke with Khuen Khru Leonard Trigg at the Thai Camp in Oregon this year and he is just beginning production on a number of Boxing Videos and accompanying Encyclopeias for the Pugilistic art. Khuen Khru Trigg teaches regularly at Ajarn's Oregon Camp and has some really cool and effective stuff. I have my order for the videos in already, even though they haven't even been filmed yet.
I should be talking with him later on this week. I'll get further details to you on this if you would like.
Take Care and Best of Luck... and if you find any Ajarn Chai Instructionals out there please let me know where you found it.
