Actually, I think we should be greatful to have Chalambok here as a resource who has clearly been exposed to many great instructors and experiences. He's certainly given me a good headstart for my Krabi Krabong training in Thailand. If it wasn't for the fact that he mentioned he was at the Buddhai Sawan, I would have never known who he was. Stating instructors and experiences isn't bad at all. It's annoying if it's mere name dropping, but with regards to Chalambok this clearly isn't the case. Keep the great info coming!

Not that he needs me to stick up for him, but I'll add my thoughts here.

Now, I trained with Chalambok for almost 2-1/2 years (mainly at my home) before I moved out of state. When he talks about his experiences, he talks as a man who has done it. It's not "name dropping", he just tells it like it happened. That can be very hard to "read" over the internet in a sterile discussion forum such as this. Basically, a lot is lost (or added by the reader) when you don't have the first person interaction. Frankly, I don't think it's anything to get your panties in a bunch about. I agree with Oct, It great to have very experienced folks like Chalambok and Terry and a few others on this forum to have real discussions about what they know---and what this forum is all about: Thai National Arts.
