You mean from doing those leg stretches illustrated earlier in this thread?

Please! Don't give him any ideas! He still has that camera and he's already proven that he's not afraid to use it!

Well iv'e been taking a breather from all this stretching, kicking & punching stuff for a bit, i think we all hit those times in our training were we just get stuck or get fed up and need a little time off & maybe in another week i'll pop back down the gym and start again now that the hot weather in GB is probablly over.

            hope everyones well.

That's some injury. How's the leg doing now?

Well as you can tell from my last text...im impatient but my legs coming on great thanx and i have been doing a little kicking with it but only light at the moment, but doing flicky kicks in the air to keep the muscles working.

Think i'll have to refill my bag up the shed & start some homebrew kicking on it.

I can now pivot on my bad leg to kick with the good leg which i couldn't do while the lower screws were in but now that the scars have healed apart from a tingleing when i touch them its fine.

                thanx for asking.

Good luck with your recovery, I can only imagine your frustration and I have only been down 2 weeks!

You shouldn't do those flicking kicks until you're sure the bone has healed especially if you have pins in it because it can result in the bone misaligning and healing wrong and then you might have to have more surgery.

I been doing those flicking kicks with my leg now for about 8 months without any problems but i made sure straight after the break to set up my own training plan which involved stretching from 3-4 months after the injury and onwards & build up non-weight bareing exercises which have amazed people who thought i'd never kick again.

The only problem i get from throwing those kicks is that my muscles & tendons knacker out behind my knee quicklly due to the bashing about they had in the operation.
(remember they had to move my kneecap to one side to drill down through the top of the bone & then literally hammer the pin down into the bone), i know about this operation due to a friend working in pre/mid xray operations).

                      So far so good.

This was truly an amuzing thread. .
Other than the part about the broken leg. Hope you get fully recovered. .I was out for only a week (sprained mcl) and I thought I was going to go insane.

But S.Anucha, you presume that I meant I spent all 1500 pounds whilst over there. This is not the case. I spent about 400 altogether, not including the ticket.

I now have the remaining 1100 to spend on uni life which of course means buying more parts for my Time Machine.

                              Almost there...
