oops i seem to be as touchy as you sometimes goatnipples but everybody gets angry at some time but i suppose it's learning to use it too your advantage.

most combat came from people fighting in the RING (it doesnt have to be a physical area) & adapted from these fighting skills, like sumo which now is just about fighting in a ring until submission/ko/palm down or ring-out but was originally fought to the death just like thai boxing & these had to be changed with society but can still when trained proficientlly be used to kill.

bruce lee was a prime example of adaptive streetfighting from martial arts & also trained in a ring/mat area.

have you ever seen true shaolin monk conditioning (i seem to remember that knuckle press-ups where but just a small part of their training)

i dont diss i just tell

Awsome. That is what martial arts are. Not sport. If it isn't teaching you to survive or kill then it is crap (exept for the healing arts). Awsome point. Awsome post. Keep it up.

          Goat nipples,
Look I'm not even gonna try to reason with you about the " shit talking", I'm just gonna ask you a few questions. First off, what makes you so certified that people here have to take your every word at face value? NOTHING. You don't mention any credentials, any teachers, you're just a " tough guy" that " trains for the streets" and expects everyone to believe you. Unlike other people, I don't think that way, if I see something that may be beneficial for my training I study it carefully, I ask questions and then I draw my own conclusions. I know plenty of martial artists that "train for the street", thing is, most of them are so busy training for "combat" that they forget about what really counts in a fight. Your physical attributes, your footwork, your cardio, hours spent conditioning etc. I told you my opinion, and I even stated that it was my opinion, no more and no less. It wasn't shit talking, if I question what my instructor says to me, then what makes you so special that we have to listen to you and not doubt? I train for results, and I don't claim that I train for " the streets", but I am a conditioned athlete and I know my limits, I don't chant mystical chants or do special chi exercises, I work my ass off seven days a week and I spend time on the mat and in the ring. Oh, and your little buddy, what's his name? The eighteen dude, I don't know him either, so as far as I know, you guys could have just seen this on the net and liked it and posted something here. Read my initial post carefully, it's nothing more than common sense questions and statements. And only an insecure person would have such a rash reaction over it. I never said that the push ups didn't work, I just said that I didn't know wether they were functional or not. And by the way, what do you call experience? Please give me your definition for this term. Hopefully we can avoid future scuffles, because honestly, this is a waste of time. Thanks

              LOST RONIN

WE'RE ON THE SAME TEAM DIFFERENT PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no me and goat don't believe everthing we hear it's researched then tried if it works than we share it! To end the argument go make iron crosses try doing regular push up's just one and if you do your a golden god! honestly I can do 50 push ups in a row, no i'm not tough blah blah blah but i still can't do even 1 iron cross push up! Goat and myself both have bags I won't call them heavy cuz there only 75 pound bags but we train 7 days a week too mon - fri were hitting the weight every day we hit the bag and every day we jump rope run. we're adding more sparring into the routine but being broke asses prevents us from buying proper equipment. we grapple on the regular though we aren't grapplers though we save it for our friends.......but knowing how to grappel is a must cuz when you start droppin bombs on someone they always wanna grab you. I heard you mentioned Lightweight ufc then you should fell me and fat asses thinkin there tough cuz they out weigh you by two whole people! and they always wanna wrestle cuz they can't strike as fast as me!

I can't speak for goat on experience but I've been in over 20 street fights I was in a youth center my whole teenage life where fighting was a routine if I didn't get in a fight I thought something was wrong! I have 2 offical 1 hit knock outs and several tkos and have only got the dog shit beat out of me once by a guy who looked like sid vicous the wrestler!!!!!!!!!no shit! I couldn't even hit him he was so damn big! he power slammed me then death stomped me on the chest I had catapiller across my chest for a week ( catapiller boots)I've been jumped a couple times but usually knock on wood come out unscathed. I have 0 ring experince but If I get beat up in the ring all thats really hurt is my pride YES I could get worked over REAL good in a ring but it's not like the streets where you might not go home. I'm not mr bad ass I don't present myself like that I stay humble If I were to meet you or any one it's not like hi I 'm 18 visions I knocked somone out with one punch I don't ever talk about it unless it's something like this. What seperates me from most but not all is the fact that I'll go toe to toe withanyone who talks shit I don't waste my time running my mouth the 2 people thta I knocked out talked more shit than anyone I have ever met just to get knocked out with 1 hit

To shut all you haterz up! GET OFF MY BACK BITCH!!!!!

                    lost ronin

First off I DON'T GIVE A fukk if you guys listen to me or not it doesn't hurt me any. I know what I'm talkin about. You can lead an ass to water, but they don't have to drink. DIE OF THRIST!!!!!

My credentials are prison and gang bangin. I've been jumped all my life, I've had three 1 on 1 fights. I'm from the streets, I used to live in the projects of San Diego,CA. and the ghetto in Richmond,VA. From my experiences in the streets I know what it takes. You don't make it to be 23 on the streets unless you know how to defend yourself whether it be with hands or pistols. I don't call myself a tough guy. I could give a fukkless if you believe me I believe in myself, YOU AIN'T SHIT TO ME. Who are you? NOBODY TO ME . I don't believe shit people tell me I have to apply it myself and evaluate the outcome! Askin Q's alone will not help you need to conduct your own experiments. I'm not one of those fighters you were talkin about, I train all the shit you were talkin about.

I don't chant no bullshit or do those out dated chi exercises. You should only spend time on the mat if yyou plan on being there, you do need to know how to fight on the ground, but you shouldn'y focus on it like alot of Americans do.

You must think I'm some dumbass, you saying you don't know if the push ups are "functional or not" means you don't know if they work. Your a BITCH. Functional translates to Effective. So don't say what you weren't doing, show some accountability.

What the fukk do you think "experience" means. It means actual fights, real confrontations, real combat, gang wars, race riots, multiple attacker situation. Notice I use the word attacker, because opponents are nice compared to attackers, opponents have rules attackers don't. I've been through all this, I didn't develop my survival/killer instinct until I went to prison and that's where I practiced and gained my EXPERIENCE. 3 years of fukkin hell and now it's stuck with me I went too young and now it's a part of my mentality. I've been jumped by 13-17 guys, but most of the time it was 3-5 on 1 or 2.

THAT'S MY FUKKIN EXPERIENCE WHATS YOURS?

Now will you leave me the fukk alone and let me help some people who need to defend them selves in the streetz, you stick to the ring. !!!!!

And do you know what else would draw a crowd? A golfer with a third arm growing out of his ass.

When you can do a handstand on your left pinky then, and only THEN will I be impressed.

                        Sigh... you poor misguided soul.

Goaty, goaty, goaty. My friend, you have proven my points countless times, but I have to tell you, none better than this one. Your friend eighteen visions understood what I was trying to say to you. You obviously didn't, so I recommend that you talk to your buddy and have him translate what I said into your common tongue, "moron". First off, I feel really bad for you, growing up in the ghetto and all, that explains your pessimistic attitude towards others. I'm also amazed at the fact that all you did was repeat my post, except you did it in your unforgettable and sometimes blunt ( not to mention crude) fashion. I do hope that your street survival studies go well, and I hope that you learn to communicate without the aid of those little smilie faces giving people the bird , they're not that witty. Nevertheless, I am not gonna bother with you anymore, you have proven the fact that you are an insecure idiot that thinks that respect is gained by showing people how much you can cuss or how "bad" you are. You have a nice day man, hopefully one day we might be able to trade opposing points of view without getting into this... which is nothing more than a waste of time because we are talking shit over the internet, it's not like we can really do anything about this. See you later

                          Lost Ronin you finally understand.

Yes I am crude and rude. Yes that is why I have a fukk the world type of attitude, it seems to be very fluent among black Americans that have faced some kind of injustices. My attitude matches my fighting style; aggressive, str8 to the point and very hard (external).

In order to get any respect in the streets it's all about action. Nobody respects a talker, they WILL respect a "walker". Cussing is part of my vocabulary (which is quite extensive).

Now we can talk on a civil playing field I hope? hit me back.

Oh yeah I like the It's alot easier than typing.

                              Dissappointed

YOU HAVE ONLY BEEN IN 3 ONE ON ONE FIGHTS AND YOU COUNT THAT AS EXPERIENCE AS IF YOU HAVE TRIED AND TRUE TECHNIQUES??? Arrrg! Sorry Nipps but that doesn't really count as vast street experience. Gussy, I get in more brawls than that each year living out here in North Carolina redneck country. ***dissapointment***

Then again...maby people are just too afraid of you to fight you much.

                                RETIRED

If you fight in the ring, streets or whatever I have respect for you. I respect real fighters who don't count on friends or instuments of destuction, besides your body to help! Goat has only been in 3 1 on1 fights but has been jumped the gang of times. Wich do you feel gives you more experience? 1 on1 where you can focus on 1 person or when your jumped 3on1 5 on1 whatever. When you know there's a possibity of being hit from all sides it brings in a new factor of fighting. If you've been jumped out numbered your whole life it brings you to another level of fighting. think about it when you constantly have multiple attackers when you have just one it's a hell of alot easier! Every one wants to jump on Goat cuz of his mentality instead of realizing he made a thread for Iron cross push ups! Take it or leave it I said it b4 I'll say it again go make iron crosses try and do one end of argument I do remeber Retired saying he does them good for you I hope you never hit me! Really whos the idiot here Goat may be rude but he's trying to share some knowledge. What has any one else brought to the table except rude comments?
