    Back to Road Work...

    Any of you guys run sprints? I do 2-4 mile runs about twice a week for general conditioning and would like to add sprints. Any routines?

      Yep, I run sprints, I do them after my usual 4 mile run.

      I usually 3 x 100m uphill sprints - sprint to top, jog slowly back down and repeat untill sick.

      Gives you explosive power in the legs, good foor kicking hard and fast.

        1mile = 1560 m exactly

        1mile = 1.56km

              Nice one Ghost, but your figures are off.

              Slow runs make me tired.
              Sprinting makes me puke.
              Sparring gets me wired.
              The trolls here are a fluke.

                I'm doin' 3 miles at 23min every morning right now. Gonna start uphill sprints again next week.
