  • Looking for someone to.........

Hey Guys...this is my first time on here....I have been training and fighting Muay Thai for over 12+yrs now, and now just starting to teach and train fighters of my own. I'm looking for people to trade some drills, combo's, techniques from around the country! If you would like to share some of your training idea's please send them to me as I will post some up myself also. Any help you guys can give would be great. Please keep in-mind I am looking for intermediate to advanced techniques and drills.

I think this could be a good way for all of us on here to share ideas, thoughts, etc..etc.. about the sport.

Thanks and have a great day.

    I will start off:

This Drill is to be done at the end of Pad work! The drill is 5 rounds that are 30seconds long with a 30secend rest they go as followed:

    End of Pad Work
Round 1- Skip Knees Hard and Fast 30sec on 30sec off
Round 2- Straight Punches (jab, cross) 30sec on 30sec off
Round 3 & 4- Kicks, round 3 is all right kicks, round 4 is all left kicks
    Round 5- All Uppercuts.

These can be done on a heavy bag or Thai Pads, Please remember these are Blast Drills, they are to be done after your workout, VERY Hard and Fast for 30seconds each round w/ 30seconds rest.

    Have Fun...

Thanks for taking the time out to right down all those combo's....I'm looking more for 4 count combos, after pad training drills, just different things that can be done. I'm sure someone on here will make good use of those combos.

PS. what did you mean by swap over?? Usually each person trains for about 30-45mins straight, 3min rounds w/1min break.

          Thanks Again.

Try this next time you train- after you are done your pad training, do 20 kicks HARD each leg for a finisher! That should make you feel real good.!

Another good finisher (or throw it into your circuit training)

Put pad on floor and stand next to it with feet together.
Jump over pad and back again 5 times (there/back = 1 time)
            Then 10 tuck jumps

            Repeat 10 times

            Throw up/pass out

            your jumping sideways BTW

Now this is what i joined this forum for. To get new and fresh ideas for my workouts. Keep them coming.

I will contribute but I've been so busy latley I haven't had time to get on here and read or post. I work 40 plus hours a week plus I'm taking up boxing and helping a buddy of mine getting his karate school up and running.

So when time permits I'll get some stuff on here.
