Well, I had my fight and it was awesome and defintely worth the pain of having to cut weight. Unfortunately, it was a split decision, and according to the judges, I lost the bout. The reason: he basically was he was a little bit more active(in the clinch, I basically dominated him outside of it with punches and kicks). I made weight; however, in doing so it really burned me out. I didn't get like a day off to relax and think about what I had to do, instead I had to run and eat barely anything, so when the fight commenced I had energy (I dominated the first and second rounds), but it was just not enough, I needed to cool down. I am not at all regretful of cutting the weight or losing the fight because it is one of the best fights I have had so far, and I am now a better thai fighter.
