I think it was just the case that i thought my toe wasn't too important. I was working on my low kicks anyway, kicking with my shi, but if i gt my distance wrong, or my opponent steps back in time i end up snapping it sideways. Whereas normally this would be no problem, because it was broken and not fully healed it hurts like hell. It's happened so often that i think psyologically i am getting sick of it and pulling out of kicks. I get the hint though. Take a break from sparring. I love sparring and it was the highlight of my week, and i think for tha reason i was always adverse to, but long term i think i have to. And with no injuries and hopefully time spent on bettering my technique the confidence will come flooding back.
