I knew one of these guys up close and personal, we spent almost every day together for eight months, I wrote my fucking thesis on his computer while he went and read papers in pubs. I know he never would have carried anything no matter what the laws said.

My new theory is that we should beat up pacifists so they learn to defend themselves before they get senselessly murdered by thugs in bars.
