I studied a form of Wing Chun that designed Gun Fu tactics and strategies that were designed for the gun PRIOR to its invention.
In meditative vision, Ng Mui learnt of future inventions, and designed the art to encompass all their tactical outage periods and angles.
There is also Troplet, but I cannot tell you yet what that will entail (very bad for some!).

What is "good"?
Originally posted by Eyegougewho here is really good at "gun fu" lol?
I have been practicing gun-fu since childhood. Hojutsu is a specialty but my skill is limited to close range. 1 meter out to about three hundred meters... For long range expertise talk to Mr. B.
Many professionals fail to train in the art and statistics of documented shootings prove that cops usually miss more than they hit. Only about one in five actually find the mark. This is especially sad when you consider that most encounters are closer than five meters.
So you see, "good" is relative...

The father of modern pistolcraft, Jeff Cooper ( Col. USMC Ret.)
Source Wikipedia>>>>
John Dean "Jeff" Cooper (10 May 1920– ) is recognized as the father of what is commonly referred to as "The Modern Techniques of Shooting". Born John Dean Cooper, but known to his friends as "Jeff", Cooper is a former Marine Lt. Colonel who served in World War II and Korea. In addition to his expertise in firearms, he is also a history professor, philosopher, adventurer and author.
The most important means of surviving a lethal confrontation is, according to Cooper, neither the weapon nor the martial skills. The primary tool is the combat mindset, set forth in Principles of Personal Defense. In the chapter on awareness, Cooper explains a simple system to differentiate states of awareness:
Condition White: unaware, not paying attention.
Condition Yellow: attentive, but relaxed.
Condition Orange: focus is directed, there is an immediate potential threat.
Condition Red: there is a definite threat.
This system is in use in most military and police organizations (and popular with the Department of Homeland Security). The system has also been adapted to women's self-defense classes.
Cooper formulated the four basic rules of gun safety widely used today:
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target.
Cooper states that virtually all firearms "accidents" occur because someone broke two or more of these rules at the same time.
Cooper is best known for his revolutionary work in pistol training, but he favors the rifle.
Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons.
—Jeff Cooper, The Art of the Rifle
The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized.
The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.

Real Gun-Fu is....
Originally posted by HardballMy Marine friends call them "Spray and Pray" LOL
"One shot - one kill" strikes fear in the hearts of your enemy and is the best kind of gun-fu...Demoralizing and deadly. Takes the fight right out of them. Makes them afraid to stand still or sit down, makes them think about their families and the cause they are fighting for, makes them think about many other things besides killing you...
