lmao... jeez man I hope I didnt "offend you", (or fighting) with my previous posts, god knows that would be unheard of around here, but apparently its all I do so whatever......

(I'm sure you'll come across the thread which makes this make sense.. I think its the martial artist vs streetfighter one).

We can only do so much to keep peace in our lives. This may involve avoiding dangerous places, staying active in the community, doing selfless good deeds and being aware of the surroundings.

Most martial artists and I mean those who use weapons and emptyhanded forms of self-defense, would rather know the skill and not need it than the reverse. No one is perfect, but it is something.

Personalities, yeah there are personalities on this board but that's what makes it interesting.
Thank you for your positive feedback.

Take heart, my friend. The worthwhile lessons to be had from this forum wouldn't be so strikingly worthwhile without the idiots and their running commentary in the background. I've personally learned a lot from a lot of the people here - even the latent homos like Samurai (couldn't resist). Just like your martial arts chool, not everyone is at the same place in their development, nor should they be. Some people are here to draw attention to ignorant behavior. What can you say? They're allowed to do that. Others are pretty constructive. Example, the Brewer / BoarSpear debates are near legendary here, but few endeavors in any forum have taught me more than debating ideas with someone who is equally willing to research and stand by their point of view. Once you get beyond the This style could beat that style," and "Bruce Lee vs. Tito Ortiz" type nonsense, there's a lot to be learned here despite the more personality challenged among us. Even the more scathing and unbearable types like Jubaji often surprise you with a nugget or two of great information.

I guess all I'm saying is that this forum is like any other community. It has its teachers, its students, its warriors and its wannabes. It won't take long to decide who's who. The real fun is learning what you can from the guys who've been where you want to go, and having whatever fun you can with the wannabes along the way.
Thank you also for your positive input.
