    For the street fighter they are not disciplined, so they wont have the stamia or the skill to win most of the time. The only way I think they could win is by having connection with people, them having a weapon or them just being really lucky in a fight.

    You took my post a little too literally. I'm not trying to crank up the tired old street vs. sport fighting argument, my point wasn't that one fighter was "better" than the other. My point was that (this being the urban forum) mindset and street smarts are more important to survival than what specific skills an individual might have learned from MA or combat sports. That's one reason why all the art vs. art debates are so silly. I said my HYPOTHETICAL (refer to my earlier statement about hypotheticals) kid from around the way has a viscous advantage, which is largely because of his mindset. His mindset has been conditioned not in a class room but by his daily life to put survival first. Besides, he probably has been in more fights in the street than the sportsman has in the ring so you might be surprised at how much skill he really has.

      I agree, sometimes street fighters are very clued up people, and often very intimidating.
