If anything a highly trained grappler(even a BJJ'r) will SLAM his opponents on the friggin concrete! That's real! And even if the opponent or attacker picks up a grappler(which is highly unlikely), there is still ways to prevent yourself from getting slammed or even taken down at all.

As a wrestler, I know I can reverse a slam/takedown sometimes on the way down so I end up on top. It's not completly reliable, but with good leverage and balance certainly possible.

Yeah, im a wrestler too, and when Im lifted up from a double, i easily counter with a crossface and/or bring legs back as im being slammed so that I land on my feet, not my back.

Why would you fight someone with a knife? Oh, because theyre concealing it up their sleeve or gripping it in their hand so you cant see it? If its in there pocket, and they have lifted you up(magically) to slam you they cant deploy it, and if youre grappling and fighting them, there's not much time to bring it out. Besides not everyone carries knifes, and if they do and they stab you, theyre going to fvcking jail and you can sue the shit out of them!!!!!

But I agree, if youre being attacked then its acceptable to use a knife or any type of weapon as long as youre defending yourself and youre at a distinct disadvantage.
