While this training could make criminals more effective, sadly its not very hard for them to pull down women from behind and stomp them, whether they have world class combatives training or not.

I guess I'm just thinking a criminal will know how to inflict alot of damage on their victims with or without instruction. Without instruction the victim will take the full force of this damage, possibly with instruction they could take less, or no damage.

Shouldnt helping the majority of people, and people are generally pretty good, be worth the risk of helping a few criminals who already know how to inflict severe amounts of damage. It also hinders criminals as well, as more people who know how to defend themselves = a harder time for criminals.

I'm not saying he should release his stuff, I'm simply trying to get a reason on why he does it. Gain some knowledge on the subject, and then make an informed opinion. Apparently you think pretty highly of him, and I've had no reason to doubt his stuff's effectiveness or his obvious belief that it is worth more than monetary value. ( I would assume he would make money off of selling instructionals/a website).

I suppose with your help I might even be able to look him up one day and learn a thing or two from him directly. I like the threadstarter dont know much about him, I'm fairly open minded so I'd like to learn what I can.

Military combatives training also teaches prisoner snatches and taking prisoners...you REALLY dont wanna teach street scum the most effective ways to wolf pack etc. There certainly is a difference in SD and plain old killing people. Military combatives teach no fence, no legal ramifications, your job is to kill, no need to wait on the right legal situation...so the mentallity and types of attack are quite different. NO ONE has a chance when two properly trained snatch people target you..you can learn the technique in 30 seconds... that doesnt belong on the streets. Imagine punks who learn to carry women off at will to rape, no matter her training...but hey you can sell the tapes and make money right? no thanks...

I am disappointed that they went underground and there material is longer available to the general public...but I understand. I have all his street JJ tapes which are a valuble part of my video library. I hope Carl et al keeps up their good work. I have always enjoyed Carl's style of zero tolerance for political correctness and his no non-sense caustic way of explaining things.
