Nice driving by the cop. However I think he got lucky with pinning him between the pole and the care.

Also, why has that police force not invested and trained there officers in stun guns. They obviously didn't want to poke a hole in that guy with a bullet. It really would have been to there advantage.

the police just don't know what to do, should they shoot the guy and get in serious trouble, or use as little force as possible and get themselves killed.

yes, tasers would have been good, also, I did not see any of the officers with batons pulled out. whats with that?

that video shows how effective a knife can be in a close range situation, as well as vs multiple armed attackers. that "madman" single handedly took out 3 armed cops before he was hit and i doubt he even knew any martial arts! those cops made a mistake in getting that close to the guy. the first guy that got hit had an ak47 in his hand, it was his dumbass fault for not keeping it trained on the guy with the knife and getting too close to him.

Looks like the cops outsmarted themselves on the second vid...once they surrounded him they couldn't use their weapons. It's amazing how often you see people choose a weapon to rely on then place themselves in a position where they couldn't possibly use it...it's a sure way to wind up in the hospital along with everyone depending on you.

They were arrogant and had too much confidence in themselves and no respect for their opponent..relying on a weapon without thinking about how you can actually deploy it isn't exactly the sign of a highly trained individual.

You know, this is something that was taught to me over and over again in the traditional martial arts, but not particularly emphasized in MMA.

You never know what your opponent knows or uses.
