See what good boxing skills can do for you?

Seriously though everyone of those guys lined up in front of him and took turns getting in eachothers way. If they would have rat packed him from multiple positions i.e. front, flank, and rear and taken him down it would have been a different story...end of story.

        But that was cool.

Far from complete. Very very far.

that may just be an advantage in a self defense situation. boxing is simple, nothing flashy, and very fast.

Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard were very flashy.

Simplicity is good. Not arguing against that.

The reason those guys didn't surround him was because they were standing on the roadside and doing so would put them in traffic. Good awareness on his part, I suppose.

Its harder to fight when you're surrounded. I'm not saying its impossible, just much harder. You get hit offbeat and knocking down one guy doesn't stop the others...in other words, get prepaired to take a few lumps and hope they ain't using weapons.

I couldn't watch it at work but I gotta say those look like palms strikes to me. His fist were barely balled up. Am I observant or maybe just blind? Nobody else sees them as palm strikes?

On the second viewing it also looks like a modified wing chun stance. Where is my man Thai Bri when we need him? LOL

That took Heart, he could have just took off running. Also, he had several nice ducks in there also.

He was definately striking with a closed fist, he was just keeps his hands loose in his guard- which is a good idea.

                            Why do you say that?

Partially because you waste a lot of energy by staying tense, but also because I like to smother punches with the palms of my hands.
