Nah it's not that that I'm an easy mark, it's just that you seem to prefer attacking people who are minding their own business. I guess you think that makes them easy targets for you to take cheap shots at, much like the customers you poisoned. Interesting how you seem to have the values and attitudes of a common street criminal who attacks little old women in the elevator because you see them as an easy mark. Lots of people use lots of tactics in a fight, TTE. Don't feel so insecure that you don't have an answer for some - just train for it. No need to pass judgement; just look honestly at the weaknesses in your own approach and deal with them. I'm not the least bit offended that you consider it "dirty" or that you try to cast it in feminine or cowardly light. Just shows you've got no answer for any of it except to sling insults. No big deal. I recognize insecurity when I see it. I'm sure most others do too.

You fight your way, and I'll...win without breaking a sweat. See? Everybody's happy.

Just so you understand, the fact that multiple times a customer scared you so badly that you felt poisoning their drinks was your best tactic just shows how few abilities and tactics you really have at your disposal, never mind how clueless you are of the difference in fighting, self defense and criminal assault on a customer of the place that employed you as a bartender. Clearly they could see you didn't have the skills and critical thinking skills needed to bounce but thought you could handle the same job the 98lb chicks were doing but it seems even that was too much to expect of you.

Using products in a manner inconsistent with it's instruction label can be a felony with or without grievous bodily injury.

The topic at hand.

So we are all agreed then that the first stage of avoiding a fight is to plan ahead and attempt to keep yourself out of situations that may lead to physical violence.

Secondly attempt to socially engineer your way out i.e. conversation or non aggressive body language, if plan A isn't any longer an option.

If the two above option do not work and law enforcement or security is an available option this should be the next logical step.

Physical confrontation should be the final stage to any situation to avoid being injured or worst case killed.

Knowing the legal ramifications of defending yourself should also be a part of your self defense curriculum, but at the same time should not impair your ability to defend yourself should you feel your immediate health or well being is in danger.

That wasn't an attack, man. It was humor. I'm sorry. I thought you could take it. I won't direct that kind of humor your way anymore, and the only reason I did that time is that I was under the impression you had a thicker skin and a more resilient sense of humor than you apparently do. My mistake. I won't repeat it, you have my word.

As for the customers I poisoned, I also didn't realize you were on hand for the events. Had you been there, you might have had a different impression of what constitutes "minding one's own business." They were not.

Every criminal attempts to justify their behavior, we all know everyone in jail says they don't belong there. If the customers were breaking the law you should have had them removed legally. You poisoning them while employed at the establishment put the other customers and the establishment in more danger physically, legally and civilly, that isn't self defense and no matter how you try to spin it, it was a crime and stupid. If they were so dangerous you thought poisoning them was the solution what was to prevent them coming back and setting the bar on fire or shooting the place up? Nothing, but you damn sure provoked them by poisoning them.

So again, I apologize for taking too much liberty with you in terms of gruff, masculine humor. I am used to a different set of norms. The guys I hang out with play pranks on one another, call each other foul names, and occasionally make an uncouth comment about another person's mother and it's all taken in good fun. I was wrong to assume that you fit that mold, or that your own sense of humor allowed for such things. Since you do not, and you've made it clear that you feel I was "attacking you" while you were "minding your own business," I will take extra care to be very civil and reserved with you in the future.

I will also expect you to do likewise.

I quit posting here awhile ago, surely someone as observant as you would have noticed...yet you've continued your "pranks" anyway, I've only posted here when pmed elsewhere and told you were taking smartass potshots at me...IF we were friends it'd be one thing, but the whole birds of a feather thing really begun to resonate with me after posts on this site were mentioned in conjunction with the security clearances of some of the men I train. I took it to heart and decided a forum where the moderator advocated things that could cause serious problems wasn't a place I ought to be contributing on a regular basis. Other factors were pointed out to me and I let the appropriate people know why I was leaving (Someone can change Boars old posts here, but they're in their original format on the wayback machine LOL) and aside from returning to point out how strongly I objected to some of the advice given (when I was mentioned in conjunction with it) I haven't posted, if you don't direct anymore BS my way when you're bored or trying to stir up readership I won't need to reply.

The feeling I got from this guy wasn't like someone was just gonna try to beat my ass down over bullshit, this felt like some dude was gonna try and leave me for dead and run off with whatever he could forcibly take! I thought about going back to that dude's street corner and leave him for the police/ambulance, but the better man got a hold of me and I drove away. Who knows, he could have hommies nearby, all armed to the teeth - it could have just as easily been bad for me?

Sounds like he was looking for a victim not a fight. You showed him you weren't a sheep
