It doesn't mean they got rid of guns among the criminals. Last I heard, the criminals had tons of pistols. I am sure you are shocked, shocked to hear that.

Nope actually if you scan around the forum you would find many threads agreeing that when you outlaw guns, only the outlaws have guns.

I know you're not a historian or a researcher[/B]. There are people who deserve that title because they are far more serious and qualified than I. For me, it is just something to help me understand a few things and I find learning new things to be exciting.

Maybe you didn't realize that I was trying to make a joke. I can't get the smilies to work for me for some reason, probably just have not figured it out. That is why I highlighted the second "shocked" in an attempt to make it sound like a rising voice.
