Not a high percentage shot IMO. One should always be aware of the possiblity of the ball shot

Relying on one move to save you is insanity. Groin shots in general are effective only if a proper follow up is applied afterward. Know that properly done a groin kick will make an opponent lean in.
However there are better ways of causing this than the ball shot. Most men are aware that the groin is a sensitive area and have enough sense to anticipate this 3rd grade school yard move.
Like Pope said, not a high percentage move as a stand alone.Comment
