Less concerned about fitting into the world
Your world that is
Because it doesn't really matter
(no it doesn't really matter anymore)
None of this really matters anymore

I am Xebby, im 21 years old and this are my friends Volcano Admim and Machine_Phantom
I used to post on some other places, but i stopped cos everyone thought i was crazy, horny and a schizo of some kind.
Just posting on this thread cos i read the stuff on quit/dont quit and so on also cos i seen the word "veterinary" kind lost in the discussoin there.
Well, i am one of those kids who have quit - a bunch of stuff
When i was 17 i got into uni for Physics, wich i quit - my head was going to explode, you have no idea of the pain and depression
That led me to another city in wich i began Computer Science and also by seeing Rurouni Kenshin on the tv and seeing a katana on some store led me to martial arts
I quit Computer Science during the second semester too
Later i quit that MA i was doing (it sucked for fighting) and changed for a better one (kicked ass for fighting)
Then after some 1 and half years i think of doing nothign but being depressed (though i literaly am the only person who knows this in real life, i never shared the pain not even with my family) i got into Veterinary, wich i have been doing since early 2003 and i wont be dropping out, just cos i love the animals and i got good people with me there.
I quit the MA, it took too much time i better spend on other more real things (this would take a whole thread to explain).
I dropped 50 lbs since i quit MA, and that is fat i am talking about, not mussscle. I feel better, i feel a lot better though i dont know how to punch anymore - cos i dont care.
Whats that mean?
I start to do and be what i want to be
Its what everyone should do
Even if the path is not clear at first
Thats all im saying and conclusions you can draw by yourself
There is the right time to quit and to rise, kids
Your confidence will develop from the result of such simple physical practice and help give you a winning spirit.
there are also qualities to gain a winning spirit these other qulities are:
Courtesy
Integrity
Perserverance
Self-Control
Indomitable Spirit
Ego does not reign supreme in an environment where there is courtesy.
We must have integrity to deal with others honestly.
Perserverance is the way to not giving up when we are faced with a task that appears impossible.
Self-Control will make you get a hold on both your physical and menatl emotions, so we learn to change fear and anger into reason and judgment.
Imdomitable Spirit will give you the right attitutde whether you win or loose a fight.
You may sometimes find yourself being tested by your instructor by having them ask you to do something you have never done before.
your cheerful attitude makes you indomitable spirit shine through. Or maybe you forget movements from your form, and you instructor may watch you struggle but remember your ability not to give up shows your perserverance.
When your instructor starts to talk about guidelines for your conduct be sure to lsiten to them seriously.
Each different martial art style might ask that you cultivate different qualities.
All qualities essentially build up character and winning spirit.
Some school choose to focus on the teaching of chi also called ki or qi which is your life force energy that is believed to come from your abdomen where it can be controlled through breathing.
Martial artists use a shout known as kiai or kihop to summon their chi energy.
Chi for martial artists means that they are able to focus all of their energy and determintation on a task at hand.
so the development if Chi is very important in the overall development of winning spirit.
