  • IT is not thier fault

Don't blame them for stupid statements. If all your experience was from video games you would be confused as well. It seems the rest of you have made sense while the "lone moron" has followed you around trying to get attention.

From this I gather you are imply the bigger ,stronger, faster person wins everytime? You are an IDIOT!!! Plenty of smaller people have beaten much larger opponents. Watch another video, eat another twinkie but stfu while the adults are talking, punk.

Well, actually they did figure out how the bumblebee and helicopter can fly. . . .

So to make a breaking board you cut a wide plank like so
          _______ ________

Did I say everytime? Certainly most of the time. Did you miss the part about statistics?

I think its great for them. I don't like to work out with them because they hold back harder work, and I think it can instill dangerous self-deceptions. But all in all, a good thing for exercise and self-confidence and such.

Obviously. I think what BaguaBoxer was trying to say was that scientists claim that these are EXCEPTIONS. How can there be exceptions to the laws of physics? Perhaps we should examine these "laws" more closely. Perhaps we don't know as much about the natrual world as we claim.

Since we are talking physics here, let us not forget the equation Force = mass x acceleration. Looking at this, we see that it takes less force to accelerate a "lighter" object. From another angle, smaller and lighter objects can carry just as much force as a larger one if they have more acceleration. This means that a smaller person, if they are faster, (and properly trained) could knock the crap out of a larger person.

It is true that ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL (training, athletic ability, courage, experience, ability to acces the reptilian brain, etc), the bigger and stronger opponent will win. This is why training is important.

Can a 95 lb naked woman beat up a 300lb asshole? NO! But if she is properly trained, she most certainly kill, cripple, and/or maim him. Mindset is important here. If someone is intent on killing you, you had better be prepared to kill them first. If your intention is to poke him in the eye and run to a cell phone, you are screwed.

But you do agree that they would be better off learning something than nothing at all, right? I think as long as they don't go off into never-never land it's good for them to train. If they are willing to take the bumps and bruises then more power to them. I think a woman could successfully defend herself using common sense self defense and "equalizers" (like weapons).

Which laws? Did you study fluids or buoyancy?
