Polegirl and I have a blowup pool. Well, technically, it belongs to the guy I live with, but Polegirl gave it to him so that we could all use it.

So, we want to have wrestling in the backyard, but we can't decide between jelly (jell-o to you Mercans) and mud.

For the jelly, I guess we'd have to get lots and lots of packets of the stuff.

I was thinking about going to a landscaping place and buying clay and adding water for the mud. (Can't use mud from the garden - I live near the beach, and I've just got rocky sand.)

So... Jelly or mud?

The problem with the jelly is the fact that it will melt and get all sticky. If anyone has an suggestions on how to keep jelly hard in a pool then let me know. Otherwise I really think we should go with the mud, we just have to get the consistency right.

We were thinking of real jelly and then came across the whole stickness thing. I know a stripper who does jelly wrestling in a club (she sold me a pair of shoes) I should ask her...I was thinking there might be a product that you can put in jelly to keep it hard, but it probably does not exist (considering most people like to eat jelly not wrestle in it). Anyway the petroleum jelly is a good idea (we call it vaseline here in Oz) will have to discuss it with my other wrestlers and get the guy who I gave the pool to to blow it up (the pool that is!). Thanks for the suggestion.

Ok, being the official ref for the event there are a few rules:

1. Action can be restarted in the North-South position at my discretion.
2. Poking may be allowed, but only below the eyes and above the knees.
3. The only legal escape from the guard is by bump escape.
4. Ground N Pound is legal and can only come from appendages below the belly button and above the knee - this can take place in either the guard or top mount.

Cakegirl and I will be your demonstrators...we'll need a good 4-5 hours for this to be fully demonstrated...just kidding
