    Advice from Female Black Belts By kicksindabank - Tue, 13 Mar 2007 03:43:00 GMT

    =========

    I need some advice from our female black belt (or anyone). I am about to journey on the same path as you are on.

    What advice do you have about being a female black belt. I know we are few in number, but I want to show other young females in our do-jo through hard work, time, and many many life lessons, you can become a Senesi.

    I know this sound like a dumb post, but it is important to me.

    Frankly I don't get the question.

    But yes, through dedication and hard work a woman can become a Sensei. I know a lot of Black Belt instructors in my area alone. Fine women, inspirational and tough.

      What art are you talking about?

      At my karate school, we have more female than male black belts, which may essentially come down to the fact that the school is owned and operated by a woman, so the female students have a great role model.

      At my BJJ school, we barely have any female students, let alone black belts!
