    How Should Women do Push-ups By FieldDiscipline - Thu, 27 Sep 2007 10:53:17 GMT

    =========

    Just something I picked up in your initial post Lynne, women should always do pressups on their knees anyway. Its not good for women to do them on toes, allegedly.

    Hope you get that sorted, doesnt sound like much fun.

    I never heard that. I personally consider it a bunch of crock!

    Doing push ups is a matter of core strength and upper body. The muscles involved also make for a nice lift in the bust....so there, if you can do it, there is no reason not to do push ups on your toes or even elevated!

      How should women do pushups?

      Simple.

      Hands just about shoulder width apart on the ground. Back straight and in line with the rear. Feet approx together with toes on the ground.

      The woman descends until her biceps are parallel to the ground and then presses until she returns to the starting position.

      In the case she cannot do this, she should allow her knees to bear her weight and perform pushups in a similar way.
