It hit me just now that I can reel off a dozen names of MA "celebrities" (famous founders of systems, MMA fighters, etc) but not one single female name comes to mind!
Yes, we ladies are relatively new to the martial arts, but surely some of us have made big names for ourselves in the last few decades? And why have I (and presumably, the MA world in general) not heard of any of them?
