Wrestling takedowns that use the hands (tewaza in Judo).
We have things like a "scoop" throw, ankle pick, fireman's throw, etc...
I've seen some frikin awesome suplex throws but slamming your opponent on his HEAD is "bad" Judo.
Lets talk about using timing, gravity and balance to take them off their feet...
Fun stuff...?
In wrestling all takedowns are kinda grouped into one category instead of breaking up into subgroups like Judo (so an anklepick and inside leg trip, ouchi gari, would both just be considered takedowns).
The suplexes in wrestling don't necessarily require you to slam the person on their head, most just twist to the side. A full out rainbow suplex is pretty hard to pull off in a match if both competitors are equal skill level so it's quite rare to actually see it at higher levels.
Timing, gravity, and balance are just as important as kuzushi in Judo, it just isn't talked about as much. Almost all takedowns are achieved through a setup, which can make the slowest shot unstoppable simply because of the opponent's position.
I'll let Jubs correct me in any areas I'm wrong or further elaborate. Hope that helps!

Now that we actually have a wrestling forum I really wish I had paid closer attention when I was in HS.
Sadly, I lived WAY (WAYheyhey) too far from town to participate on the team but I made good friends with a few guys on the wrestling team. I value and cherish the experience of "messin around" with those guys.
There really is nothing like grappling with a highly motiovated state champ.
Even a little tiny HS can have exceptional athletes. I was lucky to go there back in the day...
We also had a couple of college wrestlers at the Academy learning the BJJ. They seem to want to MUSCLE through a lot of "technique" and you CAN do it that way if you're strong but I really love the "tricks" or deception in the moves they play to SET UP the REAL takedown. The stuff looks totally effortless and seriously painfull!
Timing is everything. They CREATE time by faking you out. GOOD KUZUSHI!
My searches for basic wrestling techniques have been fairly fruitless... Anyone got some home movies or something?
