Setup
Get the opponent's motion to be coming towards you. Aggressively tying-up and breaking it by shoving it off will get him coming to you after the break.
Shooting
As he comes towards you combine the penetration step and level change. Shoot deep and aim to shoot through him.
Finish
Drive hard. If he starts to get a decent sprawl, immediately cut the corner.
i like to pound on the head to soften them up, trying to get an underhook in between that, then when they pop their head back up i shoot for a Hi-C and then switch to a double. Make sure to to cut the corner. But whats most important is to run through them as hard as you can and lift while you do it.
Yeah, arm drags are a big favorite of mine for a lot of situations. Sometimes an intentionally half-assed arm drag can get your opponent to overreact and pull back/straighten up and open himself nicely for a double.
I like a russian to open up a lot of different things. A lot of folks will try to push off with their free hand, and then posting up the arm with the russian clears both arms pretty well, leaving the double right there.
A person who is said to be proficient in the arts is like a fool. Because of his foolishness in concerning himself with just one thing, he thinks of nothing else and thus becomes proficient. - Hagarkure
I find that the single leg gives you an illusion of more control. If you shoot a double and mess it up, it's obvious because you can't get a grip. If you mess up a single leg you still have a semi grip on the leg but it probably won't be worth much and you're just tiring yourself out trying to hang on.
