  • Armdrag Takedown

I went to watch my College's Wrestling tournament a while back and I remember seeing my friend wrestled. He was incredibly fast, way faster than the average 145 pounder. One of the moves I saw him do a lot was an armdrag takedown of some sort.
What it looked like was (if he hit the armdrag on the opponent's right arm), he'd hit an armdrag, and kind of baseball slide his right leg inbetween his opponent's legs. And from there, he'd do something to finish the takedown. He'd just hit it so quick and I never had the chance to ask him so I thought I'd ask the defend.net community.
Anybody know what I'm talking about or how to do this move and/or finish it correctly?

Could you describe it in more detail?

I'll try to describe what I saw.

From standing position facing eachother, he does a regular armdrag (right arm grabs opponent's right tricep and drags across his body).
While dragging, he baseball slides his right leg inbetween his opponent's legs and grabs the opponent's right leg with his left arm. From there, he somehow finishes it.

Roughly 23 seconds into the video, Marcello Garcia hits it in this video.

Pictures a and b on page 84 of this book look kind of similar:

Looked to me like he was just taking a low outside single off an arm drag.

Ah that picture definitely helped a bit, they looked rather similar indeed. Thanks
