Hi all,
I'm a 21 year old college student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
I have a feeling there are a lot of college-aged guys on this forum (and most other forums like it).
There are tons of martial arts/mma forums on the web. The reason I chose this one is because the members here seem to be a little more mature than the members I see at most forums. On this forum, I've actually seen a few threads that don't end up in massive, ridiculous flame wars. That's something to be proud of.
It's also interesting to see that a good number of the members here are not just kids or college students, but rather adults who have spent a lot of time in the martial arts.
In other forums I've lurked on, such as Sherdog, Bullshido, and even Martial Arts Planet, the forums seem to be overflowing with members who belong in a junior-high special ed class rather than a discussion forum. All I see is "STFU U F****IN NOOB, I'LL KICK YOUR HOMO ASS!!!!!!!!!111" and stuff like that.
Good to see guys like Mike Brewer and Boarspear who are able to argue without making the human race seem like a horrible waste of time on God's part.
Anyway, here I am. Hopefully my assessment of this forum won't be proven wrong.
