Hi im lee and i live in the u.k. Im 18 and i study Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu under Shihan Keith Porter as part of the Ryuko Dojo. I started training in martial arts when i was 9 in Shotokan Karate. I trained for 5 years under a number of instructors from different organisations trying to find a teacher that taught the self defence as opposed to the sport. When i was 13 my parents bought me two books on a martial art called Ninjutsu, i started reading and from then i was hooked. It was nearly 2 years before i could find any sort of school teaching the art, in that time i had looked into other arts such as jujutsu and akido but only briefly. I eventualy found a school in the yellow pages teaching in my town so i was down there the day it opened. Ive never looked back and i can see that this art will be a lifetimes study for me, i have found an art that is 4 life and not for a trophey. Happy training to all.
