I everybody. I joined defend.net since I wanted a place where I could have constructive discussions with other martial artists. I've tried Chinese martial arts, wrestling, and recently mma. I am basically a jeet kune do stylist on a quixotic quest to research so many martial arts and martial arts-related activities (like various sports and how their conditioning methods could apply to martial arts) so that one day I can create a perfect "human martial art". Btw, could somebody tell me what is the most posts I can make in one day? I like posting but I'm worried about the part about not making posts for the sake of increasing post count in the "terms of use".

Welcome to the forum. I would say as long as you're contributing something to the discussion, you'll be fine.

Sounds like we're on the same quest, minus the part about inventing the perfect martial art.
Welcome.

Famous Karate Kid quote....
Daniel: Hey, what kind of belt do you have?
Miyagi: Canvas. JC Penney, 3.98; You like?
Daniel: [laughs] No, I meant...
Miyagi: In Okinawa, belt mean no need rope to hold up pants.
Miyagi: [laughs; then, seriously] Daniel-san,
Miyagi: [he taps his head] Karate here.
Miyagi: [he taps his heart] Karate here.
Miyagi: [points to his belt] Karate never here. Understand?
