Just joined the forum and wanted to say "hi".
I've been doing martial arts on and off since I was a kid, and have studied a variey of styles, but these days I'm more into the more modern H2H combatives systems. I train mainly for self defense and protection (as well as keeping in shape. I find it more interesting than jogging). I'm currently training in Krav Maga, and before that I was training with a guy who taught Kajukenbo( a less "traditional" more Combatives-based form, various FMA's (Presas Arnis and Sinkotiros) and The Hochiem Group (formerly known as Scientific Fighting Congress) CQC. I enjoyed studying with him, but his school kept moving north and I kept moving south, so I'm now at the Krav Maga school down the street. I also train with firearms( Like I said self defense is kinda my thing). I think its some sort of law here in Texas that you have to have at least one or they kick you out of the state
.
Anyway. I look forward to dicussing the MA's with y'all.
