  • Mixed Martial Bullshitters

How many of you have actually any fighting experience? I am directing this to the Mixed Martial Artists, you guys seem to bethe most mislead bunch of idiots ever to surf the internet! UFC is not reality guys, wake ******* up!

It is nothing like reality so please stop trying to compare UFC with reality, who the **** in their right mind is going to take a fight to the ground in a busy club or pub or outside on tar mac with ***** loads of people present? who? I'll tell ya who, a guy who suddenly trips or is so pissed he falls on his ass, maybe th etwo who are fighting know jack **** about actually fighting and end up STAND CLINCHING then fall because they havnt a clue how to keep standing, as usually thats were all fights end up, in the stand clinch... so to be honest Muay Thai is perfect for street defense.

UFC this Gracie that ... damn... most of these mixed martial artists are ******* UNI students and rich kids who have never fought in their lives but they are so damn quick to takle the word of a couple of ******* buisness men who self promoted their art correctly.... who gives a **** if some guy claiming to be a Muay Thai fighter gets beat in UFC? really who gives a ****, it proves nothing only you had better train in Ju-*******-Jitsu before fighting in UFC or else training damn hard with those guys to prevent being takendown. In reality however it is different, the ground should be a ******* mystery not somewhere you want to fight and if you find yourself on the ground then you get back up as quickly as possible cos if you doint I am going to jump all over your *******head!

do you understand? UFC = nothing like reality

**** the amount of crap you read by these ground grapplers is awsomely mind blowing, they really are mislead.

    ...

So in a real fight, people don't punch, kick and tackle each other? Huh, I must have been missing something.

You definitely touch on some good points, but here is a slightly different look. Mixed martial arts are not reality it actually has a lot of rules that you don’t here about. These rules are not made by the people running the tournament but by the insurance company that if the fighters want insurance just incase they get hurt, they have to sign a contract saying they wont use certain techniques. Another point to be maid is it’s not realistic to think the fight won’t go to the ground, and its likely it will happen when you fight multiples. Your attention is on one person when some one that you didn’t even know was in the fight tries to tackle you. So does that mean you have to put years of training into BJJ, no you can drive your fingers into his eyes or grab an object of the ground and hit him (a lot).

Just one more? How many time in a really fight do you wear 16 oz gloves?

16 oz gloves, only in sparring, well I wear 12 oz 8 oz for fights.... anyway gloves mean jack shit when you are using knees and elbows.

This post is not directly directed at anyone personally so relax.

The reason why I get so fed up with UFC fans claiming UFC to be realistic is that these guys (the fellas making the claims) usually have no fight experience whatsoever and take the word of a couple of buisness men promoting themselves and using "street" as a good tool.

Going to the ground in a bar is dumb, can you picture it? I am ready to get into a fight and the next thing I know is there is some student guy who read a book about Gracie's and UFC trying to take me to the ground!!! haha, man that would be hilarious! The one thing you will do however is try and get the fight over as quickly as possible and that means hitting him hard and fast. You dont want to try and take him to the ground for a submission!!! haha, although how wonderful it may work in UFC I doubt it would be as effective in a crowded pub or club, hell even on the street I doubt that strategy would be the first to use....

....the truth is, to fight in UFC its a good thing to learn ground grappling and I am not knocking the effectivness of ground grappling, I think we should all at least know some aspects of grappling as thats where most fights actually do go, STANDING clinch, when they do go to the ground it is because of lack of fighting ability and bad balance and no control, what happens when you know how to stand and grapple and fight? then the ground will be a strange far away place that you'd be better off never visiting!

Face the facts, UFC has only proven one thing and that is, to fight in UFC it would be a good idea to really concentrate on Muay Thai skills and mix it with a little ground work so as to get it back to where you'll get a knockout, on your feet.

Just because you are trained in BJJ do not feel that you will automatically dominate your opponent simply because he doesnt know BJJ or something similar, thats utter bullshit.

UFC is boring, its like watching paint dry, two men going for a submission is probably the most channel changing sport I can possibly imagine, similar to golf, when they do actually strike each other the techniques and skill is 50% to say the least. So to compare UFC with reality is the dumbest thing you could do, its dumb to compare any ring sport with reality....

......if you want to learn street self defence I would recommend not to learn any mystical art that has some death touch technique but simply join a Muay Thai gym, an authentic Muay Thai gym, Muay Thai is the first thing I would learn for street self defense, THE FIRST and foremost, why? well because its the easiest to learn and the most practical, straight forward no shit, mix that with the type of person you are and you will either have a shit fighter who knows Muay Thai or one crazy mofo who knows Muay Thai.

you are either born a fighter or you are not, you cannot become a fighter, you will either be a fighter or you will not be a fighter its as simple as that. UFC guys are born fighters thats why they are so tough and just because you will train in what they train in doesnt mean that you then become instant UFC fighter...!

So if you are the Uni student training in martial arts and feel you are the dogs bollox or the avid UFC fan who has never fought or experienced aggression from another human being I would ask you to think about the shit that you claim before actually claiming it in public, its makes you look stupid and makes other people get pissed off at you.

        haha.

jubaji no grappler has ever beaten me in a fight! dont start

I am a grappler, Muay Thai, I just like to keep it standing.

I have nothing against fighters but people shouting off wihtout knowing what they are shouting about, I mean it speaks for itself!

            Edited :

By the way, I dont drink i dont smoke and I dont go to pubs or clubs, I am serious about my training and serious about what I speak....

its becoming more and more apparent that the amount of bullshit posted in martial art forums, which I post on two, this and another, is hillarious! and it comes mostly from Mixed Martial Artists, and Muay Thai has it fair share, with their absolute incompetence in fighting, mate they are better of reading books to be honest. Stick to studyng homework or some shit.

you want my opinion? Ok "mate"--- sounds like you're on the rag today and want to pump yourself up a bit. I'm not impressed "mate"

Mate I am no ******* internet geek! And I aint on the fecking rag....

...you say you'd kick my ass, how the **** do you know you'd kick my ass? Stop bullshitting mate ok, simple fact is the internet is full of wabs. If you are not one of these people I am talking about then why the **** should it annoy you?

I have fought and trained in Thailand, I fight for a gym now where I live, I have had 3 official competitive fights and I know how ******* hard it is to compete, I have done smokers I have done fight demonstrations I have not lost a fight yet two of my fights being KO's in Thailand so dont call me some ******* internet pussy! I'd gladfully take up the offer if it was at all possible but mate its not and you know that so shut up with the "I'd kick your ass" attitude.

I have a fight coming up for the end of this month in Galway Ireland which I will win and I leave to Thailand in December to continue fighting so dont say I have never done it.... I am 27, 69kilo and 178cm tall, 3 fights with 1 draw being with a crazed scott and 2 KO's against Thais in Thailand.

Sure I may come across a little annoyed but i cannot stick the complete ignorance, I know very well ground grappling is effective its the **** shite that comes from some peoples mouths that pisses me off, they have no experience and then come of with these claims! It would be a hell of a lot different if everyone explained who the **** they were in terms of fighting experience so then we'd all get a better idea of who it is and what credability he has! know what I mean? I am sure ya do.

This is not your ****** internet dating site, and I'm not at all impressed by some palooka who beat a couple of skinny Thai and a drunk Scot! If you fight, good for you. Go train and stop bitching and moaning about shit on the internet.

Muay Thai is outstanding, and you should be spending more time working on it than worrying about what some dots on the screen might say that you don't like.

I defiantly feel the same that with the UFC, but all the clams hold true for Muay Thai. You have a one on one match (which you know no one else is going to jump in) you fight in a perfect environment and the strategies are totally different from a real fight. I also totally agree with the view of
“why I get so fed up with UFC fans claiming UFC to be realistic is that these guys (the fellas making the claims) usually have no fight experience whatsoever and take the word of a couple of buisness men promoting themselves and using "street" as a good tool.”
So if you want to be a good street fighter go to someone with street experience, not some UFC champ or Muay Thai, or BJJ champ. I love to watch these fight, and the fighters are great athletes but in a competion you need to be faster and stronger then you’re opponent to win. Now through my security work, bouncing work and my Military police work, I have been in quite a few fights, and I know for a fact you don’t have to be bigger, faster, and stronger to win.

Ps cant we all get along, this is a forum for discussion, glad you two kissed and made up. Also not trying to personally attack any one or their style
