Ok, I've spent the last few hours reading through some of the absolute bull$h1t that many of you people believe. Hehe. I have been rather amused. However, I feel that a few people need a few things said to them and some ideas need to be cleared up-- even though my comments will do no good in the long run because of the 99% chance ignurance and cognitive dissonance will justify each persons beliefs in their own mind, it's late and I'm bored.

Thai Bri, you seem like an educated person and an experienced martial artist. You also seem like the kinda guy I'd wanna sit on a street corner with drunk to listen to you rag on people. But, you are kind of a d1ck head.
Tai-gip, dude I can almost understand what you are saying. Yes they are too quick to bash on what you say, but you really need to write everything in MS Word, run spell check, then post, because right now it seems like you're runing a "babblfish (via altavista.com)" translation from martian to english and posting the result.
Jubaji: Are you a struggling lawyer?

I personally think Muay Thai is an incredible MA, but I do need to inform a few of you fanatics that they are not invincible. Yes the first of the last two defeats suffered by the Thai's to China was a result of lousy Chinese judges with obvios bias, but the mere fact that the @ss-kicking thais didn't knock every one of them out should be a smack in the face. The second however, resulted in the Chinese winning again, with one of the Thai's being knocked out in the second round.

Check it out: http://crane.50megs.com/index6n.htm Buy the videos if you want, they're for sell.

Take into account that the guy who wrote this review still believe that MuayThai is a superior MA in all four ranges, whereas Sanda Kung Fu only is sufficient in two of the four ranges: long and close. Does this mean that the efficiency of the Chinese fighters in those two ranges is so great that the well-rounded or "practical" fighting style of MuayThai is outweighed?

One last thing, I personally believe people should drop the term "Kung Fu" from their vocabulary, find it, and kick it off a cliff. Choy Li Fut is opposite Wing Chun, which are nothing like Tai Chi, etc. Southerners use their hands more, and northerners use their feet more, blah, blah, blah. My point is that there are so many differnet Kung Fu styles, that are so different, it is ridiculous to generalize them, or should I say stereotype them. I personally think a lot of them are crap, I cannot believe that they were invented as combat skills in the first place. However, there are some like CLF, WC, and Sanda that are great. I personally still don't think that WC is that great either. It is too predictable, too linear. Bruce Lee was just a physical and mental phenominon. His genetics were responsible for his abilities.

To sum it all up, you think you know it all and so do I so don't bother trying to prove me wrong. Oh yeah, and if you find any spelling or grammatical errors, take in mind that I did not use my own advice and prepare everything through word. Tell me if I need it and I'll gladly tell you to F_CK OFF. Have a great day, and for real lessons e-mail me and I'll teach you crouching tiger slimy rimjob.

choylifutrocks i get that a lot lol

i cant type anywhere near as quickly as the thoughts move through my mind and in the general attempt to keep up it ends up coming out in marsian

im in agreance wc is to linear but its a good base to develope from being the using two hands simultanious and so forth contact relfexes etc otherwise defense against kicking sucks more than a vacume but ive always considered that all you learn when you learn a style is how to defend against someone who does that style because you know how they can come at you .... im a big beilever in learning everything you can because otherwise you will be in total shock (= nasty contusions) when someone shows it to you on the street

also true about the kung fu/gung fu scenario like calling everything from japan akido, kendo, karate the same thing

and any other constructive critisism hit me with it

          RE: Ignorance

Hey, thanks a ton Thai Bri. I was looking for a new spelling bee coach. Also, I would like to thank you for clarifying the word ignorant for me. I was confused about which context to use it in, and now I know it is direclty related to misspelling. Damn, you seem to have memorized every word in the dictionary, spelling and everything. You must be the least ignorant person on earth. Too bad you forgot to memorize the damn definitions :P So I'm not working on my masters in English, I have to settle for med school. What a bummer huh? Maybe when I'm a radiologist or anesthesiologist--I havn't decided yet-- I can confirm Tai-Gips position on broken ribs and bones. I do know that I've seen Thai boxers, such as yourself (supposedly) break right through their fibula and their tibia simultaneously right across the diaphysis (shaft), which contain the highest concentration of compact bone, performing only blocks. Now I know a non IGNURANT person like your self would say, "Well, that's Muay Thai, and they do bone conditioning and follow through with their punches and kicks. I mean hell our motto [not officially ] is, 'punch through your opponent'." Well, that argument won't hold up, because I've yet to see a CLF, WC, Sanda Kung Fu practitioner perform point punching techniques like those in TKD, etc. *Not bashing TKD, it's a cool sport* If a CLF / WC / Sanda practitioner is not going full force full power and striking through their opponent, their sifu will be on their case quick. Also, everyone with any understanding of CLF / WC / SD knows that their bones aren't too soft either. Keep in mind people, there is no comparison between style going on here, I don't want another one of those pointless arguments going on. Anyways, back to topic. Buy yourself a Websters, or any other dictionary for that matter, Thai. You won't find the following, even though you may assume it is correct:

Ignorance (v): Commonly misspelled "ignurant" by ignorant people. Meaning: one who misspells one or more words from their vocabulary, reguardless of using the term in proper context or not. A non-ignorant person should quickly identify ignorance in others and open their gaping cum trap, queifing useless, and self righteous mucous in order to make up for their lack of sexual organs, and intestinal fortitude. Witless sarcasm is a must in order to consider ones-self not of ignorant nature. Thai Bri is the least ignorant person on earth speaking the English language, because he has remembered how to spell every word in the English dictionary.

Too bad Thai Bri forgot to memorize the definitions :P

In my version, which also will not be found in any dictionary, but follows the definition logically is:

Ignorance (N.): Name given to anyone who takes an online IQ test an recieves a 13.0. Then assumes he* or she was viewing an error in the web / application designer's coding or scripting, and that the real result had to be a 130. Theoretically, every ignorant person is a genius in their own mind, right?

Don't worry Bri, I got a 14.4 on my last test....oops typo. It was a 144. Man, if only I could use your IQ boosting technique of adding another zero in the first digit to the left side of the decimal point, while pushing the other three digits further to the left simultaneously, I would havea 1440. I think that would be some kind of record. Teach me sometime, eh?

I'm done...hehe. Thai, don't take me too seriously. I really think you are a cool guy, and enjoy your posts. However, as a man with serious confidence issues I must always resort to protecting my manhood when challenged. Thus, responding to any remark you may make at me. *Sarcasm was once more included in the preceding statement, starting with "However, as ....".

Tai-gip, I'm really glad you took my constructive criticism constructively, as I did not mean it to sound destructive whatsoever. Not to say I agree or believe everything you say. I just would not knock you for it continuously. You know what I mean. Anyone who has taken 20+ yrs. of MA is worth listening to, including That Bri Seriously. It doesn't mean that I will not let it bounce off my head though. Ha, ha.

          Hear from you all soon.

Why don't you go back to lifting cars 12hours a day and breaking bones with deadly Thai children?

                    Tai-gip...punctuation

Hey Tai, I just re-read one of your posts, that I first had a hard time reading. Honestly, the order in which you present your thoughts is not that bad. There is some flow in it. All you really need to do is from now on, put a period after each thought you have. This may not be correct and the writers of MLA would wanna kick my @ss, but it will allow your readers to understand where you are going with your points. Right now, it's one huge run-on sentence, and when people can't think outside the box, the do exactly as the error is named, and run on. Leaving them confused about what they just read. Give it a try, seriously. Good luck.
