I read that other thread, the one that got locked up. "Springer-esque" indeed!
Yes, we banned Sharp_Phil from SDF! Actually, I did it personally.
Why? Because he broke the rules. He was warned three times and after the third warning, when he failed to heed the rules, he was banned.
HOW SHOCKING!
Some one broke the rules of a forum and after being warned repeatedly, was banned for it.
Gosh, that's never happened on any discussion forum before!
(Gimme a break!)
Now exactly what happened is no one's business except for SDF Admin and Phil.
Bri_Thai, or Thai_Bri, or Mai-tai or Jai Lai or whatever he's calling himself on this board doesn't know the facts and has no need to know the facts. Why he's fixating on that I can't imagine.
But Bri "whatever" fixates on a lot of things.
I'm rather amazed at the bitterness of the grudge he bears against SDF for having been banned when he worked so very hard to get himself banned.
No Bri, we didn't go in and delete or change your posts Your words are your own. If you do not wish to have them held up before you and used to expose your, shall we say “instability” at a later date, I suggest you stop committing them to writing.
Regardless of what you and other SDF Rejects might insist, we do not alter member's posts to make them look bad so that we can ban them. If you haven't figured it out yet, at SDF, "You are full of crap and we don't like you!" is all the reason we need to ban you.
You, like some of the other SDF Rejects found here, are full of crap and we don’t like you!

What I find truly disturbing though, is that someone who is supposed to be a cop in Manchester England is still holding such a bitter grudge over such a trivial thing! I mean really now, Brian. It’s been over 13 months since you were banned from SDF and you’re still running around on Internet Forums screaming, hollering, and frothing at the mouth for some sort of “cyber show-down” with Don Rearic?
Are you completely INSANE?
It’s an Internet Forum! What kind of psychotic freak wackjob holds a grudge over such a small and trivial thing as being told you are not welcome at one particular forum?
Do you imagine that I’ve never been banned from a forum before? SURE I have! And when I was banned, did I rant and rail? Did I go around to any other related forum that I could find and tell wild stories of how I was WRONGLY PERSECUTED? No. I left, I deleted the bookmark, I didn’t go back and forgot about it. They didn’t want me there and so I left. Why would I want to stay where I wasn’t wanted?
But for YOU? Oh no! No, to you, being banned takes on the epic proportions of Saint George against the Dragon! It has to turn into some Homeric struggle of Good (presumably you!) against ULTIMATE EVIL!

Get help, Brian. I know people say that a lot in forum discussions as a way to make the other guy look crazy but I really don't have to work at it to make you look crazy, you're doing a fine job of that yourself.
And you really do need the help!

To the Owner, Admin, and Mods of Defend.net I offer…
My thanks for allowing me the space to reply to the more ridiculous charges…
My regrets that our first meeting is on less than stellar terms…
My condolence that so much of the detritus we have swept from the floors of SDF has found it’s way into your home…
And finally, my assurance that I will not allow SDF Members to carry out deranged vendettas against your site the way your members have been allowed to carry out deranged vendettas against mine.
