Asian Rambo Kills 6 hunters

any of u rememeber hearing about the asian guy who was hunting and ended up killing 6 hunters and wounding 2 more in some confrontation?

he is now serving life in prison. he must have been a real good shot if he killed 6 armed hunters and wounded 2 more. evidently this guy served in the national guard at one time and learned to shoot well. what u guys think?

He is Hmong...there is an unusual story buried in that itself...
Its unlikely he started a conflict with that many armed people, he simply ended it...I followed the story when it first broke because he is Hmong, it changed and changed until you get to the current he was the bad guy story.

I know that in SE Asia and in China as well, that there are different "clans" of people. Each clan is known for there noticeable characteristics.

Lets just say that many of things we did in nam we did ( i mean we didnt do) with the able assistance of the Hmong ( i mean without). Due to all the help they did not provide us we had to bring them here after the war to insure their survival.

Many of the most debated and denied ops we ran were with the assistance of these men...i mean was without them

Lets just say if we had not brought them with us they have been inclined to give interviews to people we didnt want them talking to.

The Hmong were heavily involved in the San Toi mission and many other P.O.W. rescue missions. The Hmong also are the people who can tie the US government to drug smuggling ...get this...through the people supposedly in charge of bringing home the P.O.W.s. The book is about 8 inches thick and about half of it is govt documents that prove the case. Look into the assasination of Col Nick Rowe in 1982. Col Rowe was a Green Beret, he spent longer in captivity and escaped (5 years) than any other American serviceman. The col returned to nam to rescue his men, the american govt tried to stop him, when they couldnt, they offered to help...at the last minute the Cols hand picked team was replaced by an american supplied Hmong team...long story short, the col didnt trust his new team and cancled the jump while airborne. He was pretty smart but not bullet proof, the NEXT day he was assasinated by machine gun toting bandits in the PI.

What it sounded like in the inital stories:

A group of locals came across a guy in the woods who might have been tresspassing. They hassled him - made racial remarks- and as he tried to leave the scene, one of them fired a rifle to scare him off. He thought they were shooting at him and he fired back - killed a bunch of locals.


What it sounded like in some editorials:

bingo...almost like you quoted the original story...think about it, who starts a fight with a group of armed locals when youre a foriegnor and alone...on their land its way more believable they hassled him, called him names and someone thought it would be funny /cool to send a shot over his head as he left...sort of like a kick in the ass...The Hmong are a proud, Tough lot...i dont think he was amused by their hospitality. whether he believed they were trying to hit him or not was irrelevant at that point...he was probably like..."Oh you want to play?" ...."Ok lets play"... "this is how you terrorize people"
What he did wasnt right in the eyes of the law, but i respect him for it.

I'm pretty sure his weapon was an AR-15 - which could account for his good shooting vs. hunting rifles (bolt action, scoped type rigs)



In any case, just how many bullets have to be shot in your direction before you're cleared to start shooting back? That would be my question to the state of Wisconsin.

I cant mind-read, for all I know you cant hit the broadside of a barn, sort of like our police you might have to shoot 75 times before you hit what youre aiming at...(unless of course its your own foot)

The weapon would have been an advantage but so is mindset...The Hmong understand hunting...MEN. Deer never have and never will shoot back.

I think what he did is justifiable if the most likely case is true. One shot can mean virtually anything, and should be taken with complete seriousness. I can also to some degree understand going after all of them, seeing as the entire group bashing him would've been armed, it would seem that one shot and then all six of em are probably going to be firing at any second...
