Agreed, IMHO Kind of Blue is one of the greatest albums ever. How can you go wrong when you have Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderly playing together? Lately I've been listening to Monk and Coltrane live at Carnegie hall. It was just released last Sept. and if you haven't had a chance to check it out it's amazing.

Brilliant album! That is one concert I would have loved to been around for - Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Chet Baker, and Sonny Rollins.
Kind of Blue and 'Round About Midnight. Absolutely essential albums.
