  • Ladies, are books like these accurate?

I mean, I didn't think people actually need a book on a subject like this, LOL.

I had a pop-up book on Ladies but it turned out not to be very accurate when I got my hands on the real thing right.

The problem is that by the time you master the game (such as I have) you're prolly outta the game.

By definition: The day you master the game IS the day you're out of the game.

Oh, the irony hits so hard that it leaves a mark.

Anybody seen this godawful pop psychology book called "the rules"? I glanced at it at the bookstore once and thought it was a joke at first but it's actually a real book that teaches women how to manipulate men's emotions by doing such things as timing phone conversations and saying they have to hang up after three minutes, never accepting dates unless the dude asks X amount of dates in advance (you have to say you're busy otherwise), etc. One of the "rules" is "don't tell your therapist about 'the rules." Probably because s/he would recognize it for the stupid manipulative self-serving crap that it is....

Some people need the chase. Usually a good sign to move on.
