Anybody seen this godawful pop psychology book called "the rules"?....

Reminds me of this old movie where Sandra Dee gets this book from her mother about how to "manage" her husband (Bobby Darin), in order to be in control and have a happy marriage. Turns out the book is really about training your dog! "Reward good behaviour, ignore bad behavour, tug leash firmly when he starts to wander off..."
