Only a real ninja can see a real ninja! You are not a ninja jubai, therefore you can't see the real ninjas! Too you they just seem like lame wannabes... that is their camuflage, so that common people will not be able to know who the real ninjas are, since that would compromise their safety. Of course, you could never harm a real ninja (like Ashida for instance), but you could attract attention to him and then real ninjas could attack him!
